Lynton and Lynmouth

Lynton is the perfect base from which to explore North Devon, with its twin village, Lynmouth, they are said to be the "Jewel in the Crown" of the Exmoor National Park.
The facilities in Lynton include a post office, bank, chemist and cinema. There is also an arts and crafts centre and several cafes, restaurants and pubs.
Lynmouth has several shops and places to eat, an attractive harbour from which regular boat trips tour the coast and an interesting tribute to "The Power of Water"at the Glen Lyn Gorge.Lynton is connected to Lynmouth, some 400 feet below, by a water operated Victorian cliff railway.
